Green Project Partners with Supplier LOCT
The partnership pairs LOCT's proven supplier training with Green Project's global supplier engagement platform.

Published:
New York, NY November 3 2026 - Green Project Technologies, an AI climate management platform, today announced a partnership with Supplier LOCT, the leading global supplier sustainability education and capacity building program. Green Project is excited not only to join the LOCT Solution Hub, but to embed our tools throughout the Supplier LOCT curriculum. This means free tools for Suppliers to calculate emissions, PCFs, set targets, build decarbonization plans, and procure renewable energy, and tools for partner companies to clearly track progress across their supply chain.
Scope 3 is where most corporate emissions sit, and where climate programs face the greatest challenge. Progress depends on suppliers, many of whom are being asked to measure, report and reduce emissions for the first time, often without the resources or in-house expertise to do so.
Since 2021, LOCT has been helping suppliers build the knowledge and confidence to take climate action. Its community brings together companies of every size, industry, location and level of climate maturity, supported through live instructor-led courses, mentoring, office hours and collaborative tools on the LOCT Hub.
The LOCT Solution Hub is the next step, connecting suppliers with the solutions and expertise to keep making progress. Because LOCT participants are shared suppliers to many of the world's largest companies, the progress each one makes contributes to the climate goals of every customer it serves. Supporting suppliers is one of the most effective ways to drive Scope 3 progress.
From learning to action
LOCT teaches and Green Project equips. Each stage of the LOCT curriculum links to a matching Green Project tool, so suppliers leave every course with a concrete result.
LOCT course | Green Project tool | Supplier result |
|---|---|---|
Scope 1, 2 and 3 footprinting | Corporate, product and service footprint calculators | A measured baseline |
Target setting | Target setting and progress tracking | A credible target |
Abatement roadmap | Decarbonization Plan to discover, plan and track initiatives | A reduction roadmap |
Scope 1 and 2 implementation | Renewable energy procurement | Reductions underway |
Value for LOCT partners
For the companies that sponsor LOCT, the partnership turns supplier training into decision-grade supplier data. Partners will be able to:
Monitor supplier progress in one place: follow participating suppliers’ progress on a single platform without chasing updates.
Follow LOCT milestones: see each LOCT milestone supplier's have achieved directly in Green Project’s supplier directory.
Use supplier-specific data: replace spend-based estimates with supplier-specific emission factors.
Tailor supplier engagement: group suppliers by materiality, maturity, region and category to match requests to each supplier’s circumstances.
Gain product-level insight: collect product carbon footprints and compare them across suppliers to inform sourcing.
Trust the numbers: rely on data quality review and a full audit trail.
Value for suppliers
Beyond the course-linked tools above, the free Green Project toolkit gives suppliers:
Free tools instead of questionnaires: enabling information flow and progress without more time spent on reporting.
One scorecard for every customer: share a single sustainability scorecard and platform for sharing data instead of answering repeat questionnaires.
Carbon footprinting for their business, products, and services.
Target setting and progress tracking, from first footprint to target to reductions, in one place.
An emission intensity benchmark showing how their performance compares with other suppliers in their industry.
Renewable energy solutions that cut their own Scope 2 emissions and their customers' Scope 3.
Supplier engagement, for those ready to address emissions in their own supply chains, available as an add-on.
What the partners say
Sam Stark, CEO and Founder of Green Project, said: "Scope 3 decarbonization will only move as fast as suppliers can. Many are still building the capability to participate, even as the number of emissions requests they receive continues to grow. Giving suppliers the tools and support to respond with confidence, and over time act on what they find, is what will drive real progress. Partnering with LOCT allows us to support suppliers at scale, wherever they are starting from."
Nicole DelSasso, Executive Director, Supplier LOCT, said: "Suppliers need more than requests for data—they need the knowledge and tools to take action. This partnership connects what suppliers learn through LOCT with practical tools to apply it, helping them turn learning into measurable progress. For our partners, that means greater visibility into supplier milestones and a clearer connection between capability building and climate action across their supply chains."
What's next
This partnership is bringing together Supplier LOCT’s world class programing and Green Project’s technology to accelerate progress across global supply chains. We’ll have many exciting updates to share in the coming months as this rolls out across the network of suppliers and partners.
