About The Event

The Scope 3 Innovation Forum 2026 ran from June 16th-17th in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This annual event brought together leaders from sustainability, procurement, finance, and operations to explore how value-chain decarbonization can drive climate competitiveness. Across two days of discussion, practitioners and experts engaged in discussion around the next phase of Scope 3 action, from SBTi 2.0 and policy alignment to energy transition strategies, supplier engagement, financing models, and data integrity.

‍Why We Attended

Green Project attended the Scope 3 Innovation forum to connect with sustainability, impact, and corporate responsibility leaders who are driving measurable progress across their organizations.

We were a Gold Sponsor of this year's event, and hosted a session called "Product carbon footprint: How to navigate the barriers to entry and create a compelling market for supplier decarbonization" on Wednesday, June 17th from 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM local time.

This session featured speakers from Green Project, Brose, and Adidas, and explored how leading companies are approaching product-level emissions in practice, and what needs to change to unlock value for both buyers and suppliers.

We also joined a session entitled "GHG accounting standards: How the evolving landscape will impact measurement, disclosure and corporate climate strategy." Eduardo Gomez from the Green Project team spoke alongside Sahil Aggarwal from Siemens Healthineers about what practitioners are seeing in the space and how they are working through the ever-evolving landscape.
